Product research is the most delicate step of being a Private Label Seller. The best opportunities lie behind long-tail searches and niche product ideas with significant demand.
Let's start with the basics
Price: Products that sells $20 - $50 or $75 price bracket, anything below $20 may or may not have a profitable margin, and anything higher may means spending much more to get started.
Shipping: Look for a durable and simple products that are not oversized and avoid fragile products.

Seasonality: Make sure that your products will bring in year-round sales. Use Google Trends to identify seasonal trends.

1. Consistent and High Demand
- Knowing the demands are important, a product should have at least 400-500 sales per month (per product).

2. Limited or Low Competition
- As a new seller, you need to know who are you gonna compete with in selling your chosen product. It is advisable to look for products where the top competitor listings have less than 500 reviews, or even less than 100 reviews.
3. High Profit Margin
- Our main goal in selling in Amazon is to make profit and we need to make sure that we really making a good profit. We need to look for products that you can sell at least $20 and still earn 40% at least for the net profit.
